Education is an important aspect of integration. Since October 2022, we have been organising tutoring classes for Ukrainian children on the premises of the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, with the support of the EPFL student association « AKULA » and the school management.

Every Saturday, more than 20 children aged between 12 and 16 come together to gain a better understanding of subjects such as mathematics and physics. Their native language is an important aspect of their national identity, so we’re happy to support them by offering Ukrainian lessons. The lessons are given by our volunteer teachers, who are students of Ukrainian origin from the EPFL or the University of Lausanne.
