This event took place on December 21, 2022 in Ecublens. Over 150 people attended.

The concert was performed by our talented Ukrainian and Swiss volunteers and included classical music, opera, jazz, traditional “kolyadki” Christmas carols, Ukrainian folk music, as well as a children’s choir and ballet choreography. Traditional food and drinks were served throughout the evening.

We organized this event to draw the attention of the population of the canton of Vaud to Ukrainian culture, to familiarize them with Ukrainian classical composers and to discover the work of our volunteers (many of whom are professional musicians), to share experiences and opinions – in short, to provide a platform for communication and exchange.  Uniting people around art promotes the culture of humanism and strengthens spiritual values.

Both events were organized in collaboration with the associations “AidUkraine”, “Ukraine Reborn” and the Ukraine refugee day centre, Lausanne.
